Course Content: The course offers an introduction to concepts and methods in language typology. It aims to provide knowledge of the range of variation in the structure of human language and to illuminate the Swedish language from a typological perspective. Principles behind typological classification of the phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics of languages. The structure of Swedish compared to other languages.
Instruction: Lectures and exercises
Examination: Completed assignments plus oral and/or written examination
